Transnational meeting Granollers (Spain), 15-18.09.2022

The final meeting in Spain between 15-18.09.2022 took place in Granollers - Spain. It was the fourth transnational meeting.

During the meetings, the current status of the project, the activities that have taken place up to this moment and the guides (for children, parents and coaches/teachers) that are part of the final result of the project were presented. At the work meetings, other specialists - physical education teachers, coaches, parents, representatives of local authorities - participated along with the project partners. This meeting was completed by the final project conference, a key event for disseminating the final product of the project to stakeholders and other target groups.

Transnational meeting București (Romania), 26-28.07.2022

Between 26-28 July 2022, the third transnational meeting took place in Bucharest. During the working sessions, the current status of the project was presented, the activities that have taken place up to this moment. and the guides (for children, parents and coaches/teachers) that are part of the final result of the project.

The workshop held at the UNEFS headquarters was attended by the partner members of the project and other specialists in the field - physical education teachers, coaches, students, representatives of sports federations. Also present in the hall were the multiple medalists in the foil event at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships: Laura Badea Cârlescu and Roxana Scarlat Bârlădeanu - current general secretary of the Romanian Fencing Federation. The partners also participated in training sessions at several fencing clubs in Bucharest.

Transnational meeting Angers (France), 18 - 21.11.2021

During the transnational meeting, there were organized working sessions with the partners with topics related to the aspects of the project stage, and the content of the guides for parents, children and coaches/teachers. The partners have witnessed several fencing training carried out with different categories of people: beginners, performance athletes, adults (fencing fitness), people with disabilities, children with CES and people in the recovery period after breast cancer surgery.

Within this transnational meeting, a fencing competition was also organized in which approximately 400 children participated. The project was presented to parents, teachers, coaches, and representatives of local authorities, but also to other categories of people interested in fencing.
