http://ikg.ro/The Association School of Coaches “Ioan Kunst Ghermănescu” is an educational institution that aims to provide professional training services in partnership with the oldest and largest sports university in Romania, the meeting place of many outstanding personalities of the national and international culture, namely with the National University of Physical Education and Sport, Bucharest. This university is a founding member of the association that set up the coach training school. The educational partnership with the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest, A- level institution, with a high degree of trust provided by ARACIS in 2017, ensures the premises of an educational process that satisfies the quality standards.

www.facebook.com/excalibur.acs.9ACS Excalibur is a young fencing club, established in 2018 in Bucharest, with the desire to promote fencing at school level with the prospect of continuing with the selected athletes towards performance. From 2020 the club is affiliated with the Romanian Fencing Federation. The club has 2 coaches and a number of 10 athletes so far. The club's athletes have participated so far in national competitions, demonstrations and cantonments. Fencing courses are held in the gymnasium of a school.
Club de Esgrima Granollers (CEG),

away from Barcelone, in the north-east part of Spain.
It works as a sports association, founded in 2013 for Eduard Manucu ex-fencer and trainer
with a long carrer. In 2014 the club got affiliated to the Spanish Fencing Federation. Currently, Club
de Esgrima Granollers have 60 fencing practitioners: 40 children’s and 20 adults. Almost all of them
participate in the Catalan League in all of the categories in foil and in Senior and Veterans in Epee,
and between 12-15 of our fencers participate in the national spanish fencing circuit and Nacional
Championships. In our club you can find people practicing fencing between 6 and 60 years.
Club de Esgrima Granollers was created to promote the fencing in one district of Barcelone
without this type of activity. We present our sports like a educational way of practicing sport where
values such as physical movement are very close.
Since its foundation our fencers won more that 120 medals in Cataluña Competitions and 20
medals in Spanish Tournaments and Championships.
Our fencers compete in internationals event too. This year one young foilist of our club won 2
medals in the Mediterranean Championships in U15 and U17 categories.

SCO Escrime Angers has been the Fencing section of the SCO Omnisports d'Angers since 1919.The
practice of the 3 weapons (Foil, Sword, Sabrer) is taught there. All levels are represented: from
beginner to advanced and leisure to competition (validated or invalid), schools, nursing homes
(EHPAD) and partner clinics (ICO Paul Papin, Anjou Clinic).A club with unique opportunities at the
level of the Regional Fencing League Pays de la Loire. The SCO has more than 200 members of all age
groups.
It is also a high-level framing with 2 graduate masters of state, to national and international
experiences, giving more than 40 hours of classes per week. The club has an artistic fencing section:
King René's Swords. It also has the equipment needed to practice handisport fencing labeled "Health
Sport".
SCO Fencing offers regular departmental and regional internships to its members.
We have an infrastructure that can host major competitions:
• 8 metal tracks, 5 non-metallic tracks.
• departmental and regional referees and nationally trained.
• Parking, changing rooms
There are also known annual meetings:
• The Departmental Cup, the Departmental Championship
• The Regional Youth Day, the League Championship
• Regional Fencing Meetings
• The Scaramouche challenge
With our team of over 200 graduates today, our sports association demonstrates a strong
evolutionary ambition on several levels. First of all, we want to be able to take our young fencers in
intra-regional competitions but also national and international. Secondly, we hope to reach a larger
audience with the breast cancer awareness. Our association is fortunate enough to have an adapted
fencing course, "Response and Sport and Health "which combines sports and health care for people
affected by breast cancer where other severe pathologies (diabetes, hypertension, multiple
sclerosis) to be able to resume sports and especially power do a smooth re-education.
In addition, like many associations, SCO works with volunteers: a dozen of them make up the
steering committee that meets once per month to exchange and make organizational and
management decisions of the club "everyday".

Our team is made up of two masters: Carmen VARZARU and Dorin VARZARU, that have the
experience and skills that allow them to adapt teaching to every person regardless of their age, level
or desire (leisure or competition).
Dorin VARZARU: DEJEPS Fencing, Master of weapons of the club for 10 years, 7th at the Juniors
(Sabres) World Championship in Athens in 1989. Member of the national team in which he multiplies
the podiums both individually and in a team.
Carmen VARZARU: DEJEPS Fencing; Master of weapons of the club for 8 years, after 10 years of
teaching at one level international, Weapons Masters are the benchmarks for weapon choice and
participation Competitions.
